Government Relations / Utilities

The purpose of this committee is to build working relationships with local government officials and representatives of public utilities to improve the quality of life for Rancho Bernardo residents and solve residents issues and concerns efficiently and effectively.

The Government Relations/Utilities Committee will be meeting the third Wednesday of every month, 7pm, at the RB Swim and Tennis Club's Conference Room.

Luis Generoso, Water Resources Manager for the City of San Diego Water Department, presented valuable information at the RB Community Council's May 28, 2009 meeting on the mandatory water restrictions to be implemented on June 1, 2009. Following are meeting dates for 2009. Please be sure to check each month to see if meetings have either been canceled or rescheduled.

January 21, 2009
February 18

March 18 - Alex Ruiz, Assistant Director for the City of San Diego Water Department, will be presenting information on current plans and problems regarding water conservation, possible water rationing, and water control during the Rancho Bernardo Community Council's Government Relations Committee meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 7pm. The meeting will be at the Swim and Tennis Club, Club 21 room, located at 16955 Bernardo Oaks Drive, San Diego, CA 92128. The public is welcome to attend and find out more information on possible water rationing.

April 15 - due to election of new members and committee officers, this meeting has been canceled until next month.

May 20 - due to revamping of this committee, the meeting has been canceled.
