Going Green in our Community

The Rancho Bernardo Community Council recognizes the following businesses for their efforts to ‘Go Green’.

If you know of any businesses doing their part to ‘Go Green’ please contact our PR Chair, Robin Kaufman, at rbns1nest@aol.com and we will add that information to the list.

Westwood Club: The Westwood Club of Rancho Bernardo has replaced some of their grass and over head sprinklers with mulch and drought tolerant plants. They also went green by recycling some of the old branches of trees and some trees by mulching them and utilizing the material on the property.
North County Times: The North County Times has tried to be an environmentally friendly business. They began going green a few years ago in areas from recycling paper and metal waste at their facility to using only soy based ink when printing the daily paper.
