Are you a high school junior? Are you interested in getting involved in community issues? If you have answered yes to these questions, then you may be interested in becoming a member of the Rancho Bernardo Community Council.
The Rancho Bernardo Community Council is in the process of seeking a student member to be seated at the January, 2025 full board meeting. Requirements for students interested in holding the position include, but is not limited to:
-must be a junior in the high school
-must attend the regularly scheduled full board meetings
-must give a monthly report at the full board meetings
-must be a resident of Rancho Bernardo for at least 60 day
-must actively participate in at least one of the Rancho Bernardo Community Council special events/activities
-must actively participate on one of the ad hoc committees
Perks of being a student members include:
Receive letter of recommendation for colleges.
Receive community service hours (attending meetings and our special events).
Receive an RB Community Council shirt to wear at events.
Receive a certificate of recognition from the RB Community Council.
Receive a certificate of recognition from our Mayor and City Council member.
